The first promo of Soham Shah's Luck is out. The Sanjay Dutt Imran Khan starrer, which is the debut vehicle for Shruti Haasan, has an uncanny resemblance to 2007 action flick The Condemned. Apart from the storyline, the promos for both films also have a few similarities.
Battling for their lives
The Condemned centers on ten convicts on death row who are forced to fight each other as part of a pay-per-view deathmatch that is being broadcast online to the public illegally. The person left last standing wins his freedom.
Luck follows the tale of mafia kingpin Musa (Sanjay Dutt) who has one obsession to change the betting industry.
Here he controls the lives of Imran Khan, Shruti Hassan, Mithun, Ravi Kissen and Danny Denzongpa as they battle each other out in various tasks set by Musa.
Making it relevant
After watching the promo for Luck it's clear that Soham has made a few changes in the original script and has made it relevant to our audience. Here are images from the two films that bear resemblance.
